Registrations are now open for the next BYOB Wellington!

BYOB Wellington 'a pot luck dinner of pixels and light' will be happening again on the 22nd of June 2013 as part of the Lux Light Festival, Symposium and Urban Arts trail. (For more on Wellington Lux, please visit their ever expanding website of awesomeness here)

To secure your place for the next BYOB all we will need from you is your name and a short description of what you will bring. (If you just want to attend as an audience member you don't need to register, just show up and enjoy on the night)


All participants/artists must be self sufficient, ie bring with you everything you need to install your work/ performance/ installations/ deigns/ idea/ experimentation/ nostalgic memorabilia etc. So please head to the registration page and download the .pdf, which has all the info you need to then fill out the online from!

BYOB Wellington launched during the Fringe Festival 
Saturday, 2nd March, 2013.
With over 18 established and emerging projection, video, new media performance and installation artists from within and around the Wellington region. This was surely one pot luck dinner that left both audiences and particapants feeling full and satisfied to the core.  

Audiences flowed in and out as they pleased from the Circus Hub (11 Hutchison Road) between 8pm and 12am It was a real treat :)

Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB) is an open source DIY curatorial format for one-night-exhibitions where artists collaborate on site to create a moving image collage. First initiated by Rafaël Rozendaal in 2010, BYOB is now an international movement. Over 80 BYOB events have taken place throughout the world so far. From Berlin to Jerusalem and now Wellington! 

BYOB Wellington is directed by The Wanderer Productions and Rayzordoll.
